Claude Nobs: "A beautiful way to finish the day"In this interview, which forms the backbone of the film Music Making History, Claude Nobs spoke animatedly for an hour and a half about the Montreux Jazz Festival. This interview was to be his last. The shooting of the film ended on December 22, 2012, two days before his ski accident. When Philippe Nicolet asked how he managed to find time in his frenetic schedule to nourish his own interior dreams, Claude Nobs spoke about his daily walks in the forest, often in the middle of the night, with his dogs. It was on just such a midnight walk that Claude Nobs met with an accident, on the very last of these invigorating excursions that he called "a beautiful way to finish the day".
