Robert Plant triumphs at Montreux

Robert Plant has returned to the Montreux Jazz Festival in spectacular form. With his band the Sensational Space Shifters, he gave a vibrant performance, the music energized with new ingredients, notably from Africa. Brilliant.

Led Zeppelin once billed as “The Nobs”

In the course of a long interview with NVP3D, Robert Plant recalled a piquant anecdote from Led Zeppelin’s past. Because the band’s name was contested by a descendant of Count von Zeppelin, they billed themselves briefly as “The Nobs”, a play on words referencing their European tour manager, Claude Nobs.
